Daniela Georgiana Golea is a Romanian political scientist, author, and expert in national security and strategic development. She holds a PhD in Political Science and is a full member of CRIFST – Romanian Academy, as well as a member of CIARO – the Center for Intelligence Analysis, Research & Operations, an international platform focused on security, intelligence, and strategic foresight.
Her professional and academic work explores complex, hybrid threats to national and global security, including bioterrorism, the militarization of biotechnology, and the institutional vulnerabilities created by technological advancement and systemic corruption. Her research bridges the fields of political science, defense studies, strategic development, and biosecurity.
She is the author of eight published books, including a recent international release in English, and has contributed over 50 scientific articles to academic journals and collective volumes, including those affiliated with the Romanian Academy and the Academy of Scientists of Romania.
